  • Airport

Brussels Airport is situated in Zaventem near Brussels.

To reach NBGB from the airport:

1. By taxi
The fare from the airport to the Botanic Garden costs about 32 to 42 euro. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem.
Make sure the taxi driver brings you to the Botanic Garden in MEISE. Often taxi drivers bring foreign visitors to a cultural centre in Brussels named Le Botanique.
2. By bus (except on Sundays)
The bus station is located on level 0. There is a stop for public transport buses from De Lijn (yellow logo).
Bus 821 towards Zaventem-Vilvoorde-Grimbergen-Merchtem
Stop: Meise: Boechtstraat (ask the driver to stop: facultative stop)
Entrance: B Meise-village (the main entrance is about 1 km further on)
  • Train

Eurostar and Thalys have their terminal in Brussels South railway station.
Belgian Railways can take you to Brussels North railway station where there is a bus connection to the Garden (see below)

  • Bus
1. Coming from Brussels (e.g. Northern railway station, Bockstael station or Underground Station Roi Baudouin Line 6)
Bus 250 towards Brussel-Impde-Londerzeel-Liezele-Puurs
or Bus 251 towards Brussel-Steenhuffel-Londerzeel-Malderen-Puurs
Stop: Meise: Nationale Plantentuin (ask the driver to stop: facultative stop)
Entrance: Garden's main entrance
2. Coming from Zaventem (e.g. National Airport or railway station) or Vilvoorde (e.g. railway station)
Bus 821 towards Zaventem-Vilvoorde-Grimbergen-Merchtem.
Stop: Meise: Boechtstraat (ask the driver to stop: facultative stop)
Entrance: B Meise-village (the main entrance is about 1 km further on)
